Stacey Shelly Joins Zenith as EVP and Global Client Lead

Key hire to help spearhead new integrated ROI+ approach for iconic Coty brands in key markets

Stacey Shelly has joined Zenith as Executive Vice President and Global Client Lead, focusing on Zenith’s worldwide Coty Consumer Beauty business. In this role, Shelly will lead the development and execution of cohesive communications strategies for Coty’s largest consumer beauty brands, including COVERGIRL, Rimmel and Sally Hansen.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Shelly is a recognized leader in developing integrated, data- and consumer-driven communications strategies to increase marketing effectiveness. She comes to Zenith from BBDO where she spent over a decade focused on growing major global brands for organizations such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble and Gillette.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Stacey to Zenith and to have her leading the global Coty Consumer Beauty team,” Sean Reardon, CEO of Zenith USA, said. “Stacey brings extensive global experience, full-service marketing perspective, and a strategic acumen that will drive client solutions forward under our new ROI+ approach. She is a marketing pro in every sense and we are quite fortunate to have her join our team.”

In her new role, Shelly will focus on Coty’s largest brands across the color cosmetics, hair care and mass fragrance segments. Her responsibilities will include developing global communications strategies that will direct media efforts across all four regions of the world, working in alignment with Tamina Plum, Zenith Global Head of Clients. A valued business partner and people manager, Shelly has a proven track record of fostering productive collaboration across teams, disciplines and geographies.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the Zenith family and for the opportunity to lead global communications efforts for Coty’s world-renowned beauty brands,” said Shelly. “Zenith is an industry pioneer in the movement toward more integrated creative and technology-fueled approaches to telling brand stories through media, and I look forward to continuing to deliver innovative work for Coty at the forefront of that evolution.”

Zenith has lead the strategy, trading, content, data and analytics for Coty since the organization appointed Publicis Media as its lead media agency globally in September 2016. The combined Coty assignment currently spans sixteen markets, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany and France.
