Stacey Shelly Departs BBDO for Zenith To Lead Coty Business

Zenith has appointed Stacey Shelly as EVP/global client lead focusing on the worldwide Coty global consumer-beauty business.

In this new role, she will lead the development and execution of communications strategies across the color cosmetics, hair care and mass fragrance segments of the client’s business.

Her responsibilities include developing global communications strategies, working alongside Zenith global head of clients Tamina Plum. Shelly is based in New York and reports to Zenith USA President Sean Peters.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Shelly comes to Zenith from BBDO, where she oversaw brands for Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble and Gillette.

“Stacey brings extensive global experience, full-service marketing perspective and a strategic acumen that will drive client solutions forward under our new ROI+ approach,” says Zenith USA CEO Sean Reardon.

Zenith has led the strategy, trading, content, data and analytics for Coty since the organization appointed Publicis Media as its lead media agency globally in September 2016.

The combined Coty assignment currently spans 16 markets, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany and France.
